wet headliner and floor

I have a 97 4Runner limited 4x4... I noticed during a bad rainstorm that the headliner from in front of the sunroof to the windshield is wet. Then I noticed that the passenger side floorboard is wet as well. I've read the reviews about the roof rack leaking, but the headliner is not wet any where near that area. I pulled up the carpet and sparyed the bottom of the truck with a hose pipe and no water came up. I just don't know if it is the sunroof, windshield, or somewhere in the floorboard. It just seems odd that the floorboard and the headliner are wet at the same time. Please help!!

Could be leaking on top (sunroof, roof rack, or windshield) and running down the pillar to the floor. Or soaking through the headliner and dripping on the floor. Is the top of the floor mat wet?

My floor is just wet underneath the carpet.... that's why I think I may have 2 problems. The headliner is the wettest right at where the headliner meets the windshield, and I must have a leak around one of the gromets in the floor pan.

Sunroof

Check you Sunroof drain tubes and where they let water exit. On many vehicles the exits are slots in the rocker panels. When they plug up the floors get wet fast.

use compressed air to clean out your sunroof drains. open the sunroof and there will be 2 or so small holes in the corners. blow out the dirt that is probably clogging them
