The Sequoia drivetrain has been the same for like 15 years, and yeah seems like 10-15 mpg is about all you can hope for . To me it just looks "fat"

I did watch that a couple months ago, I really enjoy the straight pipes guys videos. They ultimately thought the same as me , 4runner way cooler, but why Toyota didn't stuff the v8 and 6 speed in the 4runner is just dumb.

I agree the look didn't do it for me either, and ultimately why it didn't get more than a quick thought.

Did anyone cross shop the Sequoia when shopping for the 4runner? If I was totally honest with my needs, the Sequoia probably would have fit my needs better (more interior space, better towing, v8, etc) , but i just didn't love the look/vibe of it so never really gave it a serious consideration...

Sitting for awhile, and short drives where the alternator doesn't have time to recharge the battery can be killer for a battery. Get it going with a jump start, and leave it running for awhile to ensure the battery gets a good charge.
