Yeah, this crossed my mind as well with how much airflow is in that location. Yes, I replaced the gasket but I did not use the OEM Toyota part on the housing (and I know better). I am due for another oil change so I am ordering those parts today. Thanks Jeremy!

So, I have read through most of this thread... I am thinking about doing the Toytec 2" kit on my TRDP. I noticed on the website that Toytec recommends replacing the upper control arms for proper alignment? But not much mention of it here, any thoughts on that?

Ok thanks, I will check that as well... FWIW, I was rinsing all the bugs off of it last night and I did notice that the reservoir had some marks on it where it was making contact with the body. I also noticed that it did not have the same clearance as the passenger side...

cool, I have read about the reservoir making contact but this really sounded like it was coming from the door even with someone sitting back there and listening. I know how noises can resonate though so I will check this... It also makes sense that it would be more pronounced if it was loaded...
