Has anyone installed ladder racks on a 5th gen? I like the expo style roof racks but find them a bit pricey for what I need. I need something to help get loads like ladders or lumber home. The factory cross bars sort of work but something for longer items would be nice.

Tapping the dome light would probably be the easier way to go. I was just thinking about this last night. The puddle lights on the mirror maybe hard to access being in the door.

I am on the hunt for rears as well, already have the fronts in. I ordered off Amazon, have to wait and see if they ship.

Installed some 5100's on the top notch, 1.5" rear spacers next. Initial impression is great, got rid of that nose dive.

Don't have a pic but I have towed my 2800lb Subaru on a porky U Haul trailer with my 5th gen. Pulls great, I would like to add air bags for longer hauls but thats more to just keep composure.
