Well I totaled my runner a few weeks ago, but I still have the running boards. They're from a 98 evergrean pearl runner, and I'm pretty sure they're the charcoal color which matched the flares. Asking $50 obo

Yeah, black would look much better. They sell the same bar in black on the truck gear direct website. I've seen a few of the guys on here have them and they look pretty good, though they are lacking in strength. Still, not bad if you don't do much offroading..

Thanks for the input guys. Fightman and 4Running, I really like what you've both done there. I've definitely been leaning towards a dark gray or something in that spectrum, but needed a little inspiration. I'm not terribly confident in my own rattle can skillz, but I'm just gonna take the plunge...

So my wheels are looking a bit rough and weathered as of late, so I'd like to paint them. I really like the merked out black look, but I do think it's overdone and I'm not sure how it would look with my paint color. Just looking for a little input as to what color scheme I should go with. Seeing as the OP lives in nola, I'd say the fuzz isn't that great of a concern. Just as long as you don't get too crazy with the tint and obey traffic laws, they don't really have much reason to mess with you. Just like in baton rouge, nola cops generally have bigger fish to fry if you know what...

LA law says you've gotta have 40% up front on an suv, but I know plenty of people with 20% or less. You just gotta find a sketchy shop who will let it slide..
