Maybe reset your ECU so it can reprogram itself for the lack of o2 at that elevation?

Get a spray bottle of water and mist the suspected belt with the engine running. If the sound goes away it is either the belt or worn pulley. if not it is the pulley bearings.

I added some spacers to get the seat a little higher, we'll see if that helps. Here's the front of the seats where I extended the rails and welded the feet back on. To get the feet off you have to drill out the rivets and the spot weld and give 'em a whack and they'll pop off.

I just swapped mine and left the seatbelt sensor on the drivers and the airbag sensor on the passenger unplugged. No dash lights and no annoying beep if I unbuckle for some reason. I also cut the feet off the rails and moved them forward 1.5" to give me more leg room. Worked great!

Thanks for the write up. I just fixed the clock in my 2001. I pulled it apart and stretched the springs and put it back together and it works like new. Less than a 10 minute job for me! Thanks!
