I have an 04 sr5 v-6 and mines not smelly ;) This smell is sometimes cause by a faulty catalytic converter. Have that checked by your Toyo dealer and see if thats the culprit. Toyota should replace that if it is bad.

I'm a noobie to the Toyota world and I don't have a manual. I own an 04 v-6 SR5 and recently a weird light came on during a 1000+ mile road trip. Its on the left side in my instrument cluster under the Green head Light indicator that looks like an Exclamation Point above some squigly lines...

You're asking too low IMHO Here in WPB, FL I was going to buy one similiar to yours only in Galactic Gray for 28K Stick to your price and you should get what your asking. I settled for an 04 SR5 v-6 44Kmiles for 18K

That settles the question then. Not all v-8 4runners are 4x4's. I know the Durango R/T only came in an AWD option so when I heard that all the 4Runner with the v-8's were 4x4's, my hope soared...so thanks for busting my bubble! I thought I was putting one over on the dealer... But seriously...
