Warning Light on 04 2wd model?

I'm a noobie to the Toyota world and I don't have a manual. I own an 04 v-6 SR5 and recently a weird light came on during a 1000+ mile road trip. Its on the left side in my instrument cluster under the Green head Light indicator that looks like an Exclamation Point above some squigly lines Hers my best attempt to draw it:

That is the warning light for the Tire Pressure Monitoring System.

Check all your tire pressures (including your spare tire!) to be sure they are at the right pressure.


The correct pressure it indicated on the sticker on the driver's side door panel.

You may want to call up your local Toyota dealership and order a manual. It will tell you a lot about the various systems that you may not even know you have (the traction control, the anti-rollback, tire pressure monitoring, etc...). I think they are rather cheap to get a copy of.

Thanks UoD! I'll look into picking one up. I notice you're from Tally, I used to live up there for quite some time, I even gratuated from FSU back in 98. I was up there over the Easter weekend visting my in-laws.

Awesome --- I came up here for undergrad back in 99 ... stayed for my masters ... and now I am running the systems and network for the Dept. of Psychology. I lived in Daytona for most of my life --- thinking of going back around that area if I can ever get outta this town.
