I've got 107,000 miles on my 4runner and the only thing thats gone wrong with it is the power steering fluid changed into a dark color, so they pumped it out, flushed the system and put new stuff in, it sure steered a lot better after that. Oh and my Daytime running light on the passenger side...

Nice write up with pics! Couple of questions though: How many miles did you have when you did this? Was your throttle body very dirty? How about the inside of your engine where the throttle body attaches to, was that dirty? Does the dealer or maintenance book say you should do this? Thank you

Hey! I have that exact same gun, it was the first gun I ever bought. I love shooting it. Good accuracy low recoil and not too big. BTW I dont carry, its next to impossible to get a CCW permit in California.

I have a feeling that in the 4 wheel drive version of the 4runner, Toyota will make it switchable between 2HI and 4HI/4LOW. Instead of 4HI to 4LOW. I bet that if mine had that option I would get like 2 or 3 mpg better.

I have never heard of that before, however I do know that the flex fuel engines get worse gas mileage than regular gasoline engines, I dont know why. Also, you can only get the flex fuel at select few gas stations. There is one near my house, but its not open to civilian vehicles, which is wierd.
