I'd love to meet up if you're willing to drive a bit. I'm in the North Bay. Would you be willing to meet near the Richmond/san Rafael bridge?
Cheers,
Aaron
BrianSD_42 I really like your floor jack idea. I already have a 3 ton floor jack but it's heavy as shit. I assume the aluminum ones are significantly lighter? I do a lot of off roading in the middle of no where with for various reasons. Usually just me and my bro in my rig with no one around...
T4topher Yes I have a Baja Rack. These jacks really are not meant to get weathered and If I were to put it on my rack, I would also have to lock it
4RunnerFunGuest You make A LOT of assumptions. I have a myriad of reasons for wanting/needing a hi-lift. You chimed in with nothing but...
I just bought a Hi'lift Extreme. I don't like the idea of mounting it to my rack and feel most do because of the look factor. I know Sonoran Steel and Savage Offroad both sell interior mounts. I would really like to get everyones opinion who has one and what their thoughts are. TIA!
Seems like a dremel might be the answer? It's my rig and I did buy it to build and take to the mountains regularly. Just really curious to hear everyones thoughts because there are so many creative people with great ideas.
Hello all,
First, thanks to EVERYONE who is involved in this forum. It has helped me immensely with my rig and I couldn't be more grateful for all the time and effort everyone puts into this forum.
I have a 1996 Limited 4x4. I recently lifted my rig. I have junkyard struts up front....they...
I just rebooted my OEM axle (Thanks Timmay!). Taking off the tie rod and lower ball joint is quite Easy and I would highly recommend it. It's two castle nuts. Take the time, you'll be glad you did
Craigslist will be your best bet for LC coils. I got my 8 wraps for $75....i'm still waiting to lift my runner too. I have tundra struts pulled from a junkyard and 8 wrap coils, just need to get rear shocks....anyone have the LC shocks part number? price? Thanks in advance
