Tail as turn was one of my favorite mods. I back down my driveway every night when I get home from work and could barely see where I was going. If it was raining, forget it. The tail as turn has made a huge difference. If you dont need to backup over 10 feet at night, then it probably isnt needed.

Looks great! how many inches down are you on the fender? Looks like you are quite a bit lower than the 3" the SSO setup calls for.

Easy stuff in the first week or two after buying - First thing I did was strip off the factory running boards and removed the hubcaps from the factory wheels. Then I installed the blackout emblem kit and plastidiped the roof rack. BTW plastidip is great but takes some practice to get it...

Thanks and I agree. I will definitely be going bigger with my next set. I wish I would have this time, but as I said, the lack of information on people running this size caused me to hesitate. It seems you have the vast majority going 285/70 and then on the other side are people running 35's...

In a sea of 285/70's there is very little information on fitting 305/65's on our 5th gens. After going this route on my 2014 trail, I wanted to start a thread to help others out who might want to consider this option. Currently, I have a 3" Toytec boss lift. I actually got about 3 1/4 inches...

looks really good! maybe consider tinting the tail lights to go with the look.
