I enjoy following other folks and have gotten some great ideas, so here it goes.

Easy stuff in the first week or two after buying -

First thing I did was strip off the factory running boards and removed the hubcaps from the factory wheels.

Then I installed the blackout emblem kit and plastidiped the roof rack. BTW plastidip is great but takes some practice to get it right.

I also took it to a local shop and got the tint installed. I went with a higher grade ceramic tint to get a darker look while trying to stay at (or at least near) the legal tint limits here in NC.

At that point it was time for a lift.

I had planned to cheap out on a spacer lift, but after more research decided to go with a good lift and settled on the Toytec Boss. A friend and I installed in about 4 hours in a home garage.

I went with the Icon Rebound wheels, as they were the best looking ones (to me) that I came across and the Icon name has a reputation for being quality stuff.

I have had BFG A/T on my vehicles for the past 10 years or so and they have consistently been the best tired I have had. I know many have their complaints, but they work for me.

I went with the 305/65 to try something a little different than the standard 285/70. I was very surprised at how little rubbing I had. I have another thread on that if your want to search. A little liner mod, trim the fender just a bit and removed the mud flaps - good to go.
