Yeah, my buddy just picked up a '65.

It was pretty easy, just time consuming. The hardest part for me was taking off the plastic blinker cover (inside the light) without breaking any tabs. If you go slow, you should be fine. I've never done anything like this before and am pretty happy with the results. No leaks yet - fingers crossed.

They were painted with Duplicolor graphite wheel paint. Pretty close to the color of the tube steps and rack, not exact though.
