i was gonna ask why 2005 models seem to have two pairs of front fog lamp. is it, in fact, a turn signal light and fog lamp? is that what you mean by keeping the headlights since the headlights for the 2006+ models have a built-in turn signals while 2005 models not? thanks for the tip, by the way :)

mine is 2006 also and i had a similar problem. i took it to the dealership and asked for the driveshaft retorque/grease and they charged 25 bucks for it. now the noise is gone.

just curious. i see that 2013 SR5 now has knob-style 2WD/4WD shifter, rather than shift lever. does that mean that even SR5s now has a center differential, and that now it can be driven on the dry pavement in 4WD? just got 2012 SR5 and i'm feeling confused!

nice color! i'm always partial to black :) i too had 08 335i and although i never had that dreadful HPFP failure, i decided to return it after 3 years cuz of that issue - it was more or less a time bomb. now, i have 11 z4 (with inline 6, the last year!) and couldn't be happier!
