trying to decide between carrera vs carrera 4...

could anyone direct me to the most active, and hopefully newbie-friendly online forum?

I always refer to Porsche Forum and Luxury Car Resource - 6SpeedOnline great webpage and pretty decent users. I have a 996 C4S(hence my user name) myself and enjoy driving it on the weekends. Might be selling it to get a 997 Turbo.. Good luck in your search. I also buy my parts from Pelican parts. Great OEM products at a decent price.

Back from the dead? Suncoast is another good Porsche parts. Rennlist is probably the most comprehensive and mature of the Porsche forums.
