i had one hell of a time getting my front suspension in as well. did you try disconnecting the lower a-arm from the spindle? that might enable you to bring it down just enough to fit the struts in there. hope that helps out! goodluck

i know that some companies make 350 swap kits for tacomas (which is the same as a 4runner), but i dont know the price but i'm sure a google search could help find that. but in my opinion i wouldnt put anything but a toyota motor into a 4runner. people have done v8's from 1st gen tundra's and...

I have an e locker and housing from a trd Tacoma that has been modded to fit the rear of a 2nd gen runner. I'm asking 1200 plus shipping. Price is obo so give me an offer.

My cv axle broke yesterday while off roading and I can't get one for a couple days. So my question is, can I just take my axle out and cover the diff with something and drive like that?

my understanding is (correct if i'm wrong) that square tubing is stronger than round tubing, so if i were to build my own set of links i was thinking about using square tubing. what are your guys thoughts on this?

i'm sure there's a way to design one yourself and make it compatible with a stock spindle. i have plans on making some, but just need the time and money... which won't come soon.

i can't remember the name of the company, but theres one out there that makes a lower uniball for our gen 4runners. its got the uniball welded into a plate with a bent 'arm' piece for the steering. but it was like 700 bucks!! o.O

I've noticed lately that my runner let's off a phosphorous like smell when I'm hot-roddin around or something up to merge onto a highway and things of that sort. Anyone have any idea what this could be?

Good God your t4r is sexy as he**!! I love those rims just like everyone else lol. i just might have to snag up a set when i upgrade to 35's in the future =D (probably at least a few years tho haha). Good job man!!
