Yup... I have the lag too and its very annoying. I will make an official complaint at my next service.

Pretty sure its to keep goobers out of the seat track that might fall down while you are eating. That slot between the seats is a wallet/cell phone monster as well... eats them up at the slightest jostle from your thigh.

Getting Worse Okay.. what was once a slightly annoying oddity is now a full fledged pain in the ass (back). I have 8K on my 4Runner and the squeaking seat back is getting worse and worse. It is now audible to other passengers in the car... squeaks on every bump and turn... How could they ever...

Yes.. I get it too. The only thing I have found that works to correct this problem is press the "play/pause" button before you turn off the car. DISCLAIMER-It doesn't work every time but way better than just shutting off the car while the iPod is playing. Still looking for an answer....

I know many of you including myself have been getting intermittent errors while your iPod is plugged into the USB in the glovebox such as Error 3 or Error 5. I may have found a solution.... It has worked for the last few days where usually, I would have several error messages in a single day...

I now have 4,800k miles on my 2010 and whether you call it a tranny or accelleration problem, it is not acceptable. At low speeds, you literally have to wait a second or two for the tranny/engine to find its way. REALLY ANNOYING! The only thing I can isolate it to is a major acceleration lag...
