I just replaced my power antenna.:happy:Now I need to put back the splash guard inside the fender well and chrome trim on my SR5 (not the mud flap behind the tire). It's inside the wheel well. Is there any easy way to take off those darn plastic/hard. rubber caps? I wasted one but got it...

Check to see if it is attached behind the plug. Sometimes the plug wire become unattached. Open up the center of dash w' flat screwjobber. Make sure all connections are secure. Try again. Good luck1

Thanks Durk! Is it possible to run a switch for the antenna? Should I put a switch on the blue or red. I'm hearing online that both will work just work the antenna different ways. Switch on the blue will allow antenna to stay up when toggled up when radio is on. A switch on the red 12v...

I've taken out the stock antenna. I've cut the plug out and the signal wire (because I couldn't find the connection). I see two wires where I've cut the plug. They are 1-blue and 1-black and yellow from the 4-Runner. The wires coming from the Metra replacement are blue, red, black (ground)...
