Installing Inside Fender Mud Guard

Just changed my antenna. Works/looks great. Now, I can't seem to get the darn fender trim and inside-the-wheel well splash guard on. Tried prying the buttons off. Got one off but pretty much destroyed it. I noticed some buttons like things below the button head, on the corners of the buttons. Buttons are tough. Should I just put it in w/ the 3 screws for now and buy new ones later on? Anyone ever take off that splash guard and chrome trim(SR5)and put it back? Any help much appreciated. Do they (buttons) pull toward the tire or away from the tire. I don't want to damage/bend the fender too much.

Toyota part no. 90189-06028 = fender liner screw grommet

Yep. Just get the parts from toyota. I just did this job yesterday. The toyota clips come in a package of 10. I was able to get behind a few of the ones on the liner and get them out. The others, I just used a long box blade and cut the heads off.
