Yes you do. For a few bucks it makes the install process simple and quick! The old version of the harness needed to have the wires swapped but the new one is set up correctly as is… Still very very happy with the sound quality too!

If you have an Autozone or similar nearby they can scan and read the codes for you and will do it for free. That will at least give you a starting point in diagnosing and fixing whatever the issue is. Sorry I can’t be more helpful than that, but I hope it’s an easy fix whatever the issue may be!

Thanks for the suggestion! I cut a slot for a flathead but it didn’t work so I dremeled the head off and used a vice grip to remove what was left. I then reinstalled the cleaned sensor with one screw, and hopefully my local dealer has one in stock tomorrow… Thanks again!

I went to clean my MAF sensor but the second or lower screw is stripped and seized and I cannot get it to budge… Soaked it with WD40 to no avail and now I’m afraid the screw is tripped as well. Does anyone have any guidance or tips on how best to proceed? My next attempt will be ordering some...

Good point. Speaker impedance on these JBL systems is different from the vast majority of the speakers out there, and that made finding decent (or better!) replacements nearly impossible. Many threads have been made over the years with OEM seeming to be the best if not only option unfortunately...
