My aal kit added about 4 inches to my 89 4r.

I have a 1989(1st gen) 4runner with a chevy 350 V8 and for some reason my engine fuse keeps blowing, and sometimes the starter doesn't turn over at all, not even a click or anything. I went and got the battery tested and it is ok so its not that. Could someone tell me why this is so?

Does any one of you know what all comes in the adapter kit from AA? It says on the site that it comes with the bellhousing but thats all it says.

Has anyone used a V8 conversion kit for their 1st gen 4runner? If so, what kind was it and what did come with? Does anyone know who is better: Northwest or Downey? Thanx.
