Been going to the Outer Banks (Cape Hatteras Point and Ocracoke) for surf fishing/family vacations since the 70's. Always air downed to 15 - 20 psi depending on the softness of the sand. Airing down is a must on beach driving. As stated before, do not drive near or in the water. Dave
