Thanks for the ideas - I am getting a roof box and the back is being built out to sleep in so there really isn't room other than the spare tire area underneath. I don't have welding skills, but that is an intriguing idea. Anyone else have ideas??

Does anyone know what the towing hitch that comes with a 95 4wd is rated for? Mine is all rusty and the label is gone.. in the manual it says trailer wt + cargo can't exceed 3500 lbs, so I guessing that is the limit? I was trying to check the hitch rating as described here...
