How much did you pay for your 3rd gen?

I'm back :) Picked up this 98 Limited for $1000. Needs a t belt and axle seals, but I think I did well.

    New to the Old (Classic)

Looks a lot like mine, except you’ve got the best year!

    Best flex pictures?

This one was taken on the Elephant Hill trail in Canyonlands N.P.

What did you do with your classic T4R today?

Took the top off, spring is finally here :) Also shows off my new 4x4 Labs rear bumper and Trail Gear sliders.

What did you do with your classic T4R today?

I didn't get a swing out, but the company does offer one that can be added at a later date. Its structural rigidity is mostly from a square crossmember, to which the hitch, recovery points, and frame plate mounts are tied into. The wings have a support which bolts to the frame.

What did you do with your classic T4R today?

Built my 4x4 Labs bumper kit. Went together great, and looks sweet! Just needs some paint and I will install it. Next person who rear-ends me won't be having a good time...

What did you do with your classic T4R today?

Washed and waxed the old girl. First time it got over 50 degrees in a while! Prepping for 4x4 Labs rear bumper and Sliders installed in the next few weeks. But first, Moab this weekend!

    3rd gen to 2nd gen...downgrade?

Semi-relevant: I went from a 3rd gen to a 1st Gen. I like the simplicity of the 22RE and 5 speed. I like the classic styling and removable top. I actually get better gas mileage DDing it. I miss the power and being able to cruise at 75, even up hills. I also miss the coil rear suspension. With...

What did you do with your classic T4R today?

The glass is fine. And the dent didn't even chip the paint, so I could probably find someone to PDR the dent. I have thought about an aftermarket bumper. I just don't know whether I want to stay mostly stock or go down the built road. As it sits:

What did you do with your classic T4R today?

Definitely no plans to let them total it, or if they do, I will buy it back. I figure I can fix it for $500. The tailgate isn't really that dented even. This is the extent of the damages: (Also, sorry the pic is sideways, shows correct on my computer?)

What did you do with your classic T4R today?

Got rear-ended by a Tahoe :( Thankfully damage is light, but shop wrote a $1500 estimate for the bumper replace and tailgate dent. Hope it doesn't total.

    1st Gen T4R Picture Gallery

I bought it with a Yakima rack on it. I'll have to figure out how to fill the holes, since they drilled right through the fiberglass.

    1st Gen T4R Picture Gallery

Sold my 3rd Gen for a 1st Gen. 1988 DLX, 22RE 5 speed. Looks good from 5 feet away, but needs some cleaning up and sorting. First on the list is a set of new front seats. The vinyl is torn and the seats are uncomfortable.
