Minor whoopsie this morning.... Swerved to avoid a car pulling out and locked up the brakes. Slid up across the curb and was fine until the rear tire caught the grass and dug in. Im fine, I wear a 4 point harness so I didnt bang around much. Engine was still running until I tripped the fuel cutoff and battery disconnect. Not sure if Im going to fix it or not.

Thanks, it's been a work in progress. I'm trying to bring it back to what the Toyota God's made it originally. Parts aren't getting any easier to find I'm afraid.

Nope, haven't been to Bozeman in it. I'm from the very western part of Montana. I had it repainted back to the factory color (silver metallic) and am chipping away at other things on it. LONG LIVE THE 1st GENS!

Sold my 3rd Gen for a 1st Gen.

1988 DLX, 22RE 5 speed.

Looks good from 5 feet away, but needs some cleaning up and sorting. First on the list is a set of new front seats. The vinyl is torn and the seats are uncomfortable.

Looks to be in pretty good shape. Looks like it had a roof rack of some sort at some point. That 1st Gen never gets old to look at.:car:

Nice! any pics of the 3rz? I think you just pry it off. It's held on by plastic snaps/tabs

I bought it with a Yakima rack on it. I'll have to figure out how to fill the holes, since they drilled right through the fiberglass.
