WOW, that is one fine looking 4runner. Congrats. And I think you got a great deal too boot. Shoot, a 4X4 here in Texas with that kind of mileage runs about $7K alone. Let alone you got a ton of extras. I'm pretty jealous. Enjoy!

Try taking a look at your TB plate. Some wear can occur resulting in the plate no longer properly sealing after removing the carbon from the TB plate when cleaning. If that's the case, easy fix. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/3rd-gen-t4rs/123396-my-high-idle-cured.html Worth a shot.
