Hava '98 4cyl 4runer.w/ hi-idle problems.Friend plug'd in analyzer shows no EFI/idle sensor faults nor wiring trbl.I removed the throttle body for boil out after install still hava Hi-idle.Any other suggestions would appreciate.

Hava '98 4Run'r 4 Cyl. Recent eng re-bld.When reaching operating temp Hi-idling occurs(1500 RPM).Turn off eng very hard starting with fuel flooding. I can smell fumes.Any ideas?Dont want to burn out starter.Also afte 30 min wait will start immed.

fuel leaks High idling after reaching normal operatns.Why/where does this fuel line in2 the chassis goes? Cant seem to trace it near the gas tank.

Fuel leaks Hello, This return line i notice a conn/coupling in2 the chassis. I'm unable to find this fuel line embedded in the chassis. The idling is running high at 1500 Rev Any ideas? Thanx

I'm having a fuel leakage problem on my '98 4cyl 4-runr. There's a line coming off of the Vapor sensor unit(located behind the fuse box) tracing it to my chassis where the fuel's leaking.Is this a return fuel line to the tank? Does anyone have gen diagram?Thanx

'98 T4r ; 4cyl When reaches operating temp car idles races ; tach readings goes above 1000 rpm then bk2 normal. Slight missing.Not sure if its electrical,fuel inject or computer issues.Any suggestions?

I've just dropped my fuel tank(98 4-runr). If you check ur rear seat you'll see an opening plate w/fuel sensor wiring. Ucan unplug and check ur fuel lines to ur fuel pump for leakage.Otherwise feel around ur muffler exhaust pipe.Inspect around trans bell housing as well.Good luck!

Fuel Prob Hello, Your fuel filter is underneath ur intake manifold.You can loosen the fuel nut(17mm) crank ur eng couple times fuel should squirt, If not you hav a bad fuel pump which maybe in you fuel tank. If so gd luck 'cause you hv2 drain/drop the fuel tank. Kapeesh!

Hello, Recently dropin'd recent re-build eng('98 4cyl t4r).Put all sensors/hoses etc in place.Gets fuel ; Chk'd firing order ; Turns over fine. Wont Start. Also does anyone hve any photos of 22r eng. Hve couple hose brackets need to place.Thanx
