'98 T4r ; 4cyl When reaches operating temp car idles races ; tach readings goes above 1000 rpm then bk2 normal. Slight missing.Not sure if its electrical,fuel inject or computer issues.Any suggestions?

Have you tried cleaning the MAS (mass airflow sensor), how long since last tune up? Pop the hood when it's running and listen closely, can you hear a tiny whistling sound (vacumn leak)?

Just recently re-built eng.Could thereb a cracked coil?All ign wires nu

Idling sounds good w/no whistling. Engine recently re-built. Check all nu ign wiring.Could i hve a cracked coil or fuel sensor problem?
