Took running boards off. Looks so much better. Pictures doesn't do this justice. You have to take them off on yours to really see the difference. Only takes about 20 minutes.

Vent shades and bug deflector. Touched up some small nicks.

New plugs and wires. Oil change,turned rotors , air filter, wiper blades and new weather tech floor mats,front and back.

Justin727, can you tell me what brand of hood deflector that you have . I like the looks of that one.

Took top rack off , took it apart , sanded and painted and put back. Thought it would take a couple of hours but had three screw heads strip. Note to self use penetrating oil instead of being too lazy to walk back to barn,to get it. Ended up taking about 5 hours. It was worth it though.

Finally got them all out. Had to get some with the ease out and some with the dremel. Now time to clean , sand and paint. Thanks for the help.

I start taking my rack off this mornin to prep for paint. Have three screw heads that strip of course. Tried to drill one out and drill slips and slides across roof! Does anyone know if dremel makes an attachment that I could g t in the groove to cut the heads off? Any other suggestions?

I own a 3rd gen. I am 6 ft 3 , 225 lbs. I don't worry too much about being called girlie.

Sounds like I've got another project for tomorrow. Kyle I like the look with no running boards. I thought of taking mine off but I would have to carry a step stool around for my wife to get in. Thanks guys

Is there any kind of sealant,under the rack itself or just seal,the screws when I put it back on?

Been spending all day cleaning carpets and interior. Washing and polished with turtle wax ice. Painted Reese hitch and plasti dipped center caps. The paint on my roof rack is peeling. Looks like I can just loosen a few screws and take it off to paint . Anyone done this? Any problems I need to...
