traded my front bumper and running boards for 02 headlights, all the weather stripping, radio trim, fuel sending unit, grab handle, and lower trim pieces.

then this showed up and i had to get to work on it right away

With the help of Jerry [MENTION=95206]10ac[/MENTION] , finally fixed my rear axle seals problem AND installed new rear Toyota brake shoes ($72) and two new NAPA drums ($140 pair)

We did not mess with the bearings so no press needed. My rear bearings about 5 years old and have no symptoms of failure.

Also got my new modified sliders installed ... pics to follow.

Today was a LONG day, I swapped my rear axel for an E-locked rear end. Note to self: Removing a rear end is 1000% easier than installing one by yourself. :redbrick:

Was out at the salvage yard today looking for a headliner grab handle for the driver's compartment. Remembered what [MENTION=69868]LittleCaesar[/MENTION] had said about putting 4th gen wiper washer nozzles on his 3rd gen. No junked 4th gens in the yard, but also remembered a 2001 RAV4 being there from a previous visit. I ventured over there to see what kind of nozzles it had and 'what do ya know?' Perfect match but not with two jets per nozzle but THREE! These things are amazing. Also read that with a pin or paperclip stuck into the hole of the nozzles, they can be pointed to where the spray goes (I used a very small awl and WD-40). I had no idea that this could be done! Still have a little dialing in to do but what a comparison between the old 2-jet nozzles and the 3-jet nozzles. The best buy for a dollar that I've had in a while!!

Took top rack off , took it apart , sanded and painted and put back. Thought it would take a couple of hours but had three screw heads strip. Note to self use penetrating oil instead of being too lazy to walk back to barn,to get it. Ended up taking about 5 hours. It was worth it though.
