I managed to get a 1 1/6" full size wrench in above the driveshaft. They weren't that tight and was able to break them and unscrew by hand. I sprayed them first with Brake Clean, wire brush and then some Kroil. Same thing for tightening. hand tighten and then maybe a flat or two with the wrench.

Problem fixed. Goes in and out of 4WD with no problems.
