Sorry for the delayed response. I ended up drilling it in.... The only reason is because I bought a Smittybilt XL roof top tent, and it takes up almost the whole rack. I figured I should just drill it for the extra support, and less stress on the bolts at the back of the rack. Honestly...

I have a Prinsu rack that I haven’t installed yet, and I read online that since it’s so close to the roof, it’s hard to mount a tent on it. Does anyone have experience with this? Is it a pain?
