Just an update incase someone else runs into this issue.....I finally got the bottom off with a small pair of vice grips. Replaced it with allen head screws from lowes.....M4-.70 x 12

Hi all, I stripped out the bottom screw trying to replace my TPS. Tried the dealership they couldn't find one so does anyone know what the size is or where I can get a replacement once I get the screw out? Thanks.

Man what a project.....I do not recommend anyone take this on without all the proper tools..... 20 ton press, toyota 4 pin socket, and balljoint puller at the minimum....I purchased a 20 ton press so that helped....got the old bearing out and the new one in as well as replaced the ball joints...

If it does end up being the bearing does it have to be pressed on and off? I have seen this but did not know it that was only for the 4wd models....just trying to figure out if it is something I could fix myself....

Have not had a chance to rotate the tire yet but did jack it up and spin the wheel by hand and the sound does not occur. Have looked the tire over really good and see no nails or anything of that sort in it

First a little back story.....I purchased a 2000 4runner sr5 from an individual who had changed out the factory stereo to one with a pop out screen. There was a backup camera wired into the unit as well. The screen would open and switch input to the backup camera when the vehicle was in reverse...

anyone know why when I search for tires it comes up as a 15".... is that the factory tire size meaning the wheels have been replaced? would that be cheaper? pros and cons?

Hello, I just got a 2000 sr5 2wd and I need some new tires....I don't really plan on doing any off-roading.... just looking for something economically priced that will last a while not looking to spend 200 per tire I'd like to stay around 150 if possible.....I have heard michelin has some good...
