First get the CEL code it should help pinpoint the problem. Did the mechanic tell you what code it was kicking up to fire the CEL?? More stuff on OBD codes - http://troublecodes.net/Toyota/ In my neck of the woods Autozone will read the codes for you for free.

Yea, she doesn't have a lot to spend on this little project. Are you sure it is a 3 piece bumper on the '07?? My '06 looks like one piece for the cover. Ya got a link by any chance??

My sister just called me she had a backing incident. :( Sounds like it took out the bumper cover, she is going to send me some pictures but it doesn't sound good.... Anyone have the parts blowup to the rear bumper cover on a '07 Runner? Also where could one find a cost effective replacement...

Well I have less than 60 days on the lease on my '06 4Runner. It's a SR5 V6 2WD with leather and a sunroof. It has been awesome with 0 problems in the 3 years I have had it. Went to the Toyota dealer this weekend and realized Toyota hasn't changed a darn thing on the 4Runner aesthetically...

My '06 has been a Tank! :D But I have now owned a 4Runner, so unless Toyota comes out with a new and improved version I'll be doing something else once the lease on this one ends in November.

The interior in the Highlander sure seem to have a lot more room than my 4Runner. But the Highlander doesn't look like it would be much of an off road vehicle. http://www.toyota.com/highlander/

Was the Accord originally from the US, otherwise he may have some issues getting it inspected and licensed in Texas.

Re: Yep... Smart man, I took mine to the dealer and they bent the door, then claimed it was already bent when they got it and gave me an estimate to replace it...... :rant:
