2007 Rear Bumper

My sister just called me she had a backing incident.

Sounds like it took out the bumper cover, she is going to send me some pictures but it doesn't sound good....

Anyone have the parts blowup to the rear bumper cover on a '07 Runner?

Also where could one find a cost effective replacement rear cover?

I have a parts list here. Rear bumper cover is 3 part design. Left and right covers are $159.00 each and middle piece is $79.00 per Toyota pricing. I hope you dont need all 3 for sake of that walet.

Yea, she doesn't have a lot to spend on this little project.

Are you sure it is a 3 piece bumper on the '07?? My '06 looks like one piece for the cover.

You're right, it's a one piece cover for 2006-2008 and might be under $200.00. Here is the link (make sure you get with tow hitch cover if that's what you have):

Hi,

were you able to buy the 4runner bumper cover? if so, how much did you pay for it? I am thinking of replacing my front and rear bumper cover. my front have scratches and I had to cut out the rear bumber to give way to the hitch I installed, luckily the hitch kit included a cover so the cut is not obvious. tnx

Do you have a mobile service in your area? I was able to use one and it worked out great. They were able to repair the bumper/paint/clearcoat everything and you can't tell the rock from the trail ever jumped out at the truck. It was significantly cheaper than a body shop and only took a few hours. Obviously these guys are local to where I live but there might be a similar service near you.
