The new body style looks great, but I could always get an 08 v8 for about $10k less and have 2 more cylinders. Does age really deteriorate the build of a 4runner (will i have to initially put a lot of money into repairs) or can I just drive it and do regular service if the miles are low?
Newest update: a Land rover lr4 is looking extremely tempting. They've depreciated into the right price in the last few months.
Sure, and LR isn't even close when it comes to reliability. But it's an LR! Everything about them is just comfortable and spectacular.
Ok, I probably will be taking it off road just a little. I just don't want to scratch or scrape over rocks or run into trees after owning it for so little time. I don't want to be spending money on offroad features I won't be using, but there aren't any similar cars.
