Thanks. The factory cross rails seem to sit a little lower which may be quieter or keep drag down some. Hopefully they are not any weaker than the aftermarket rails that sit on top of the main roof rails.

The brackets for this basket are stated to work with round or square cross sectional rails but which crossrails work well or better than others?

It looks like the dryer is a desiccant pack that goes up in the bottom side of the condenser like a tampoon. It has a plug at the base that gets a new o-ring or replacement. Not sure how critical that is for function.

Thank you for the inputs. I am mainly focusing on items behind the dash for now. One thing I took for granted was quality of heater core part. Most say to do a pressure test on them before installing as they are prone to leak. Not sure if it's the terrible design of crimped tube flange to core...
