its for the jvc kw-avx840..the reason I'm asking is because I already have xm, so I'm wondering if I can reuse the antenna.

what about xm? did you keep it on your aftermarket radio? if so what were the steps you took to keeping it? I'm purchasing a new hu on my 5th gen and I just want to make sure I'm buying the correct stuff.

I already have XM in my 5th gen, but I'm getting a new HU now. Do I need to get the full XM radio kit, or can I just buy an adapter and set it up since I already have an antenna. Please help!

This helps out a lot actually. I was planning to just amp the stockers to the hu,but if its going to be pointless I might as well get a cheap set of coaxs and amp all 4.

that is true, but if i'm watching dvd's without rear fill will that make a huge difference?

super clean install..i love how so many 4runner owners understand the importance of saving space in the trunk with these stealthbox installs.

i think the best budget hu is the pioneer avh-p4300..it has all the features minus the bluetooth and navi which can be added for only a couple hundred more..it will keep you way under $1000...i personally don't see the need for navigation when turn by turn on phones are so accurate these days.

has happened to me if i turn bluetooth off while im in the car and turn it back on..quick fix has always been to turn the car off and then on again..
