Ok guys, so I purchased JBL P660c's for my front stage and I've been going back and forth about rear fill for my 5th gen. I have a Pioneer Avh-P4300dvd so I will be watching movies once in a while. Right now I have a JL 300/2 for the fronts and was just planning on amping the rear stockers to the hu. Should I purchase some coaxs for the rear and get a 4channel, just run the coaxs to the hu or just leave the stockers..any input would be appreciated. I just don't want to regret my decision once im done. thanks.

Thats why they make 4-8 piece surround systems, to many speakers? Actually I do agree to some extent. Yes I know home theater is different the car audio. reason I mentioned surround is because the OP said he was going to watch DVD's at times. Or if they have kids will need sound for the DVD's in the rear.
Nice quality 6.5" seperates up front, 5.25 or 6.5 Co-axials in rear with a single 8" or 10" in a good enclosure. Run the seperates and the co-axials on the same amp. since amplifying the front speakers and then using the HU to power rears you may as well not have the rears at all. Also most HU's have cabin selector or sound stage focus setting built in nowadays. The sub is non-directional so really doesnt matter the location.
This helps out a lot actually. I was planning to just amp the stockers to the hu,but if its going to be pointless I might as well get a cheap set of coaxs and amp all 4.
