Thanks guys. I guess this would be expected for an engine of its mileage. It has been taken care of its whole life and i am the second owner. It was in near immaculate shape for the mileage and year. Ill keep an eye on it.

So there I was, changing my oil this weekend and I noticed there was a little oil covering the back of my trans and around my oil pan. I run Mobil full syn 5w30 and change at 6k and usually loose about 1.5 quarts or so between changes. Are the 4.0s known to have rear main leaks at high mileage...

But then again the maplight always has power. Meaning I'd have to manually turn the gps off and on every single time. That's what I'm trying to avoid. Looks like I'll just tap the fuse box and fish a wire up to the mirror.

I believe the step down says 5v. Not sure about amperage.

Where is the best place to find ignition switched power in the maplight area? I dont want 24/7 power. Trying to hardwire my gps and all the googling ive done brings up decades old diagrams.

Is there an ignition switched 12v supply up in the maplight area i can tap into to power my gps? I have the hardwire kit for my gps with stepdown. Thanks

Good to see another Knoxvillian with a modded 4th gen. Im on the north end near the clinton hwy/merchants area. All stock at the moment. Got a 3" lift, JBAs, and 255/75/17 to go on here very soon.
