Can you please give me some more detail as to how I would be able to attach parking and speed sensor wires?

It should simply be plug and play for everything. You would just have to ground the parking and tap in the speed sensor wire. There should be ample information on this forum to help you find the right color wires.

Eclipse AVN5435 and I believe AVN5500 both have Green illumination.

My main Menu (Navi) screen has everything except Volume button greyed out. My Places and Map DVD buttons are also greyed out. Would your suggestion work in this case too? Appreciate your help in advance.
