Which of those would work for transmission temp? None of the ones on that page seem to be for oil/transmission temps. Apologize in advance if I am missing something, I am kind of new to the whole Scanguage/OBDII app game

At what point in the trans lines did you install the filter? Would love to see a pic of your setup if you took any, haven't ran the lines to my cooler yet and would like to do so with placement of the filter in mind as everything is pretty tight in there

So just to be clear after reading through this thread, DashCommand does not read transmission temps for '99s, correct? Has anyone been able to find an IOS app that does? or is Torque for android my only option? Have an android phone, but was thinking of mounting my tablet or my old Iphone 4...

Also, any recommendations for specific brands of transmission fluid? Was planning on just picking up 2 gallons of Valvoline Maxlife DEX/MERC for $36 at my local autozone, but would be open to spending a few more bucks if there is something I could get that would give significantly better...

Does anyone know if any of the national auto parts chains (O'Reilly, Autozone, Advanced Auto Parts, etc) carry in-line transmission filters, similar to the Magnaflow ones I see everyone recommending? I did some searching on google but could only seem to find the internal filter replacement...
