    Drove it to the state inspection and failed due to gas cap. Need to buy new gas OEM gas cap for $22 then go back again to the shop to get my sticker.

    I drove to the office today and notice on my lie-o-meter (APG, reset after the tire upgrade test drive). My APG when up by 2 and started to go back to normal. I'll keep you posted on what will be my mileage for my full tank. Previously, my full tank (20 gal) is usually 320 - 330 city driving.

    Last spring, change brake pads. also planning to change or rebuild front calipers, when I have the time this summer. The truck was braking properly before the tire upgrade, i just notice the braking difference after the upgrade.

    Compressing rear coils

    Jack the rear through the rear differential (center) and disconnect both sway bar. Once the sway bar is disconnected, start lowering the jack and be careful on the break line as wrestler157 mentioned. Rene

    Just upgraded tires to 265/70/17 with FJC wheels. The truck feels taller during the test drive and needs to get use to the breaking distance and speed difference. Rene

    fj cruiser arb bumper

    A friend is selling his bumper and thought it will be a cool mod (without breaking my wallet) and also save me trimming work for the upcoming tires/wheels upgrade (will be putting 265/70/17 with an FJC wheels). But did not took in to consideration the front of both truck as NJshadow93 mentioned.

    285/70/17 and set of wheels

    The FJC wheels is the same (17x7.5) with the exception of the offsite. The FJC will stick out further compared with the t4r stock wheels. Which is perfect for my project, I'll keep you posted for any update and this might take a few weeks or months.
