I have done this. Doesn’t work

Yeah I’ve shifted it into 4HI and 4LO multiple times. I sunk my car in a mud hole a few months back after a hurricane. After that is when it happened so I’m not too sure

I don't go in stuff that deep so there's no chance for water or dirt to get in the connector. Also when I'm mudding I like to have it in 2WD also. And I know that diff lock can disable all that but I rarely ever need diff lock cause I'm always in 2Hi or 4HI. I don't get stuck.
