So I wanted to treat myself and eat a new radio for my 2007 4Runner. I got the Kenwood ddx374bt. It worked fine for a few days then I realized the back right speaker in the door does not work. So I took the new radio out and put the old one in to see if it was my soldering I messed up on. The speaker continued to not work. So I put the Metra wiring harness back in and connected the Kenwood back up. I then took the rear doors apart to see if the back left speaker works on the right door just to test if the factory wiring works and it's just the speaker. When I went to test if this was the issue, the Kenwood radio would not power on, however, the reset button with an upside down arrow still flashes Red indicating it is still getting 12V power. My next idea was to take it back out and put the factory radio back in. Then that radio wouldn't power up either. So I don't want to go to the professionals and have to pay a bunch of money. Does anyone have any ideas I could try and do?
