These pics are actually 7 yrs old. The 4runner looks brand new in these pics. It isn’t like this anymore - wish it was though.

Yeah no offense taken - but the pics are 4-6 years old These pics are when i was fixing it up. My back bumper was hit in the winter and the 4runner has More dents dings and scratches than ever before. I’ve had it over 16 years now and I’m thinking maybe it’s time to sell it.

Yes i still have the 4runner I still have the bug shield but it’s got cracks. I tried getting a new One but it’s discontinued - stampeded low profile clear. Hope all is well

Here's the paint. I was at Home Depot and gave it a shot and it matches pretty good luckily. I cut the crumbled part of the seat with a box cutter, then cut a similar shape that was left out of the vinyl but a little larger w/ a scissors. stuffed the bigger vinyl patch into the smaller hole...

Thanks for the compliments - I gave it a shot and am done. I'm not planning on swapping seats or doing really anything else. I've had this truck 13 years now. Bought it new. I forgot to mention I sanded the patch as well before I painted it. I would've looked better if I got the left side...

bought vinyl from a fabric store, supper glued it , painted it. not the best but an improvement i think.

also heres my new stereo - pioneer - love it sirius antenna above windshield. still love my 4runner, but starting to think about maybe selling it in the next year or so.

well this is as far as i'm taking it supper glued fabric into the hole, sanded it. painted it with some rustoleum that totally matches (probably not the best idea) and sprayed it w some zap kicker. That patch kit i bought was useless. I accept defeat.

leather seat repair well there's is a reason I'm not in the upholestry business. I'm doing this in stages and even though this is an embarrassment so far I'll post what I've got. I purchased some vinyl sheets at a fabric shop, cut it and glued in into the seat hole. But first trimmed around...

Not yet because the weather sucked. I'm gonna do it soon and will post before and after pics. I did install an awesome pioneer stereo so eventually I'll post new pics.

I'm gonna try this - bought it off Ebay. Maybe you can pick them up cheaper separately. I have a huge tear so I'm gonna try and find a scrap piece of leather first and glue it behind the leather hole, glue other flaps down, sand it and paint it. I saw a youtube video of some guy do something...
