    Upgraded from incandescent to LED

Really long extension cord... I've got an inverter plugged into the 12v outlet in the cargo area. Just run an extension from that to the light string.

Blinking VSC OFF, CHECK engine solid, traction icon solid

Have you found anything out about this? Same happened to my 08 SR5 yesterday after a trip to the Laserwash. I'm going to have Autozone read the code tonight. I'll let you know what I find out. UPDATE: Went to Autozone at lunch. Code is P0705, "Transmission range sensor circuit...

    Help with Christmas Lights

I've been putting Christmas lights on the roof rack for a few years now. I plug them into a converter that is plugged into the 12v outlet in the back. It's nice because they turn on/off with the truck. This year I decided to add lights to the bull bar on the front. I bought a battery...

Same price here I'm having the same kit installed on my truck on Wednesday. The guy here is charging me 257 for install and the front end alignment. Having 265-70-17 Toyo Open Country A/T's install too!

    Conceal Handgun...What do you carry?

Here's my baby. With the right holster, it's surprisingly easy to conceal. And remember a 9mm may expand, but a .45 will never shrink! Springfield Lightweight Operator, the light is only on it when it's in the nightstand.

    Caution for those with toddlers!

Update Took the truck back to the dealer and they fell all over themselves to help me out. They'll be replacing the seatbelt free of charge next week. I never heard anything back from Toyota corporate, but the dealership is detailing what happened in the warranty report. The service manager...

    Caution for those with toddlers!

Agreed, and that's where she sat until her brother came along. Any idea where I can find a two story car seat for the middle? ;)

4.0 owners: how many added Trans cooler?

I have to agree with the cheap insurance part. I tow a 19' travel trailer that weighs 3500#, figure the couple hundred bucks for the cooler would be better than stranded on the roadside on vacation.

    Caution for those with toddlers!

No, when your daughter is being strangled, there isn't a lot of time to weigh your options. A seatbelt is far easier to replace. Also, it would not have worked. The ALR function kicks in only after the seatbelt has been pulled out to it's full length. You can hear it start to ratchet as you...

    Caution for those with toddlers!

Tonight I had a near miss that I'm pretty shaken up about. My 4 year old daughter discovered that she can reach the adult seatbelt from the seated position in her carseat. While pulling it out, she somehow wrapped it around her neck, and upon letting go, it retracted it's full length. Except...

Hitch Cargo Tray - exhaust issues

Yup! Exhaust burnt through 3 layers of a blue poly tarp and singed the hair on the deer that was underneath it. Deer didn't mind much though, he had much bigger issues (.308Win hole) to worry about.
