For me, it's a stainless Springfield XD sub-compact .40 or Gen I Kimber Compact Custom .45. Both go in their respective Milt Sparks VMII (AWESOME holster)! Kel-tec P32 otherwise (sooo easy to hide).

I don't know about that. I have chrono'd my XD SC (3") .40, and I get a fair amount more energy than my 4" .45's. 5" .45 might be a different story, but that's is too big to carry imho.I'm a fan of the 40, BUT only in a full size pistol. To acheive the velocities the 40 needs to equal the 45, it needs a full length barrel. Going to a 3" barrel really cuts some velocity.
These days, ESPECIALLY in church!!! That is now one of the more likely places you may need it!I am with Manhunter, any place, any time... Which means, all places, all times, and even church ;-) you never know.
I usually keep one extra magazine on my person. BTW, no offense intended, but please don't call 'em clips. For those who carry their piece everywhere, how many clips do you carry too (unless you can kill 'em all with 1 clip)?![]()
