I've been putting Christmas lights on the roof rack for a few years now. I plug them into a converter that is plugged into the 12v outlet in the back. It's nice because they turn on/off with the truck.
This year I decided to add lights to the bull bar on the front. I bought a battery operated strand of LED's and zip-tied them to the bull bar. Right now I have to turn them on/off with the little switch on the battery box. Any thoughts how I can convert 12v to 4.5v so I can wire these into the fusebox and have them go on/off with the truck as well?
I got a D in Circuits, knew I should have paid closer attention.
