Okay, 1,500 miles later, looks like the P0430 code isn't popping up yet. I checked both gasket on the front and the end of the manifold/catalyatic converter so looks like this issue has been resolved. Hopefully the vehicle will continue up to 300,000 miles.

The last time I remember someone changed the timing chain on his vehicle was he hit 500,000 miles.

Changed the converter today, prices weren't bad which I bought at Steven's Creek Toyota and they had the parts ready. Took the whole day job and I was going to film it for youtube but camera died. I'll post later on when the vehicle reaches 200 miles and see what happens.

Yeah I checked it and unfortunately it seems the catalytic has died. The Steven Creek Toyota Parts people said we can order the CAT on their website and go pick it up. The price was like $493.10 so I'll probably be doing that since I intend to drive that vehicle for a long time.

Had the CEL for the P0430 again, I unplugged the O2 sensor, cleaned the plug, put some dielectric grease on, and hopefully it will stay off that way.

I got LED lights for all the head lights. Only thing I don't like is the fog light isn't bright enough. I might do some sanding on the fog light assembly as it does kind of look a bit fogged out.

Hi everybody, also having the same problem with P0430, mine is the V6 SR5 with 218,000. Catalytic order is sadly restricted thanks to the loony politicians in California. Has anybody tried that O2 spacer yet? I'm up for smog test before November 14 expires.

Just bypassed mine too, the flashing light was annoying and not worth fixing. Anyways, don't know if this was posted but wouldn't recommend using the yellow scotchlock, it was too big and I had to pull the metal and crimp it down to fit the wire. Hopefully it won't come lose.
